I have always had a passion for helping people in some shape or form. With a strong personal interest in health and fitness I knew that I was going to make a career in the health industry.
I obtained my registration with the Canadian Massage Therapy Association in January 2015 and completed my Massage Therapy Diploma with Honors from Georgian College. During my schooling at Georgian I received many clinical hours working with the public and other health care professionals. I gained experience working in a hospital setting in palliative care and the cancer center, in addition to working with varsity athletes, pre and post pregnancy, fibromyalgia, deaf and blind seniors, and complex care clients. Before that I was studying at Sheridan College focusing in Athletic Therapy, through this experience I gained valuable knowledge and practical experience working with injuries and athletes. Currently I am continuing my education part time in Allied Health Science to broaden my work field focus in a managerial position in the health industry.
My goal as a therapist is to provided excellent patient care, and provide therapeutic massage treatments to improve and maintain health, movement, and overall wellness, as I truly believe motion is lotion.
