Brad graduated from the program of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in 1988. He is a specialist in manual therapy gaining his FCAMPT status in 2001 from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Orthopedic Division. He has been an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Orthopedic Division since 1988. He has worked as an orthopedic physical therapist in the private and public sector for more than 20 years. He has consulted for lawyers, the insurance industry and medical specialists since 1996. He has published numerous articles and has presented at various conferences throughout North America. He is a Professional Associate at McMaster University School of Rehabilitation and takes pride in being an active educator. He presently is completing his Master’s Degree at the University of Western Ontario. Clinically, Brad strongly believes in educating his clients in self management and in using his manual therapy skills to restore his clients to full function. In his free time Brad enjoys time with his family, vacationing, exercising and reading.
Yohanna started her academic journey at Mohawk College graduating with a diploma in Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist Assistant in 2011. She continued her studies at York University and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. Yohanna is an active member of the College of Kinesiologist of Ontario. In 2013, Yohanna obtained a Personal Training certificate through Can-Fit-Pro. On her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing beach volleyball, and exercising.
Harmandeep graduated from the program of Physical Therapy from Punjabi University Patiala, Punjab, India in 2010. He has worked as an orthopedic physical therapist in the private and public sector for more
than 8 years. Harmandeep is an active member of the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario. He has Master’s Degree in sports physical therapy and had worked with various sports teams. Clinically, Harmandeep strongly believes in educating his clients in self management and in using his manual therapy skills to restore his clients to full function. In his free time Harmandeep enjoys, travelling, exploring new places and cultures, exercising and reading.
Tonya graduated from Seneca College in 2010 and is a registered Social Service Worker. Prior to starting with DSD in August of 2018, Tonya enjoyed working with various agencies assisting adults with a range of intellectual disabilities. Tonya is looking forward to taking courses to gain her certificate in American Sign Language.
Since starting with DSD, Tonya has quickly become apart of any team she is working with and is always ready to take on a new task and lend a helping hand to assist the company, the patients and her colleagues. When Tonya started with DSD she was working in Burlington but has recently transferred to our Stoney Creek location and is very much looking forward to working with her new team.
In her spare time, Tonya enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading and volunteering with her previous agencies.
Chris has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2009 with additional training in Cupping, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Muscle Energy. Chris has experience working with many different patients including pre-natal, WSIB, MVA, palliative and post-operative. In her spare time Chris enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and watching movies.
Pamela was a personal trainer for 2 years before she moved into a more clinical setting. Over the past 2.5 years Pamela has taken several courses which include: Exercise therapy level 1 and 2, Movement screen mastery, Foot and Gate analysis, M2T Blading and Facial Stretch Therapy Level 1. She loves helping people get better through exercise and relatively pain free. Pamela's real joy in life comes when she goes home to her 2 huskies, Loki and Valkyrie. They are Pamela's fur babies and are a constant joy in her life.
Brinda Ajmera has experience working in the Healthcare field for over 4 years and believes that a happy and helpful front desk can make a positive difference in the journey of healing. Having a Physiotherapy background herself, she understands the requirements and needs for all types of clients. In her free time she likes going for hikes, dancing and cooking. She practices Yoga and Meditation on most mornings.
